Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using CashNest. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
01Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CashNest ("we", "our", or "us") governing your access to and use of the CashNest mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms in full.
02Description of Service
CashNest is a personal finance application that allows you to:
- Track expenses and income across categories.
- Set and manage budgets and savings goals.
- Split bills and shared expenses with contacts.
- View financial insights and reports.
- Monitor assets and liabilities over time.
The App is provided on a free and premium subscription basis. Certain features are only available with an active premium subscription.
03User Accounts
To use CashNest, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported social sign-in method (Google). You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
You must notify us immediately at support@cash-nest.app if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
04Subscriptions & Payments
CashNest offers optional premium subscriptions processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to the billing terms of the respective platform.
- Free trial: premium subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period.
- Billing: subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: you may cancel at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.
- Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. CashNest does not process refunds directly.
- Price changes: we may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
05Acceptable Use
You agree not to use CashNest to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Scrape or extract data from the App using automated means.
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your account.
06Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and design elements within CashNest — including the name, logo, icons, UI design, and code — are the exclusive property of CashNest and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence does not include any right to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App.
Financial data you enter into the App remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your personal financial information.
07Disclaimer of Warranties
CashNest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
- Any information provided in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
- Results obtained from using the App will meet your expectations.
CashNest is a personal finance tracking tool only. Always consult a qualified financial professional for financial decisions.
08Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CashNest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if no payment has been made.
09Termination
You may stop using CashNest and delete your account at any time from within the App's profile settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
10Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you within the App. Your continued use of CashNest after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
